WILL OF MATHEW CONLEY
WICOMICO CO., MARYLAND
JULY 11, 1882
In the name of God amen I Mathew Conley of Sharptown Wicomico County State of Maryland, being in perfect helgth of body and of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding, considering the certenty of death and the uncertenty of the time thereof and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs and thereby be the better prepaired to leave the world when it shall pleas God to call me hence do - therefore make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say
First and principally I commit my Soul unto the hands of Almighty God and my body to the earth to be decently buried at the descretion of my Executor hereinafter named after my debts and funeral charges are paid I devise and bequeath as follows
I give and devise to my beloved wife Elizabeth my house and lot whereon I now dwell know by the name of Island Eye containing twenty six acres more or less to her the said Elizabeth my wife during her natural life or widowhood after her death to my daughter - Mary Walker wife of Thomas W. Walker the said Mary Walker pay unto my daughter Amanda Bailey wife of Levin H. Bailey the sum of twenty-five dollars and to pay my grand daughter Lena T. Gravenor the sum of twenty-five dollars when she arrives at the age of sixteen years old
I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Elizabeth all my personal property after my debts and funeral exspence are paid of whatsover kind during her natural life after her death to be equally devided between my daughters Amanda Bailey and Mary Walker and my grand daughter Lena T. Gravenor in equal portions shear and shear alike
And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint Thomas W. Walker to be my Sole Executor of this my last will and testament - revoking and annuling all form wills by me heretofore made ratifing and confirming this and none other to be my last will and testament
In testimony where of I hereto set my hand and seal this eleventh day of July in the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty two
