I, William P. Oliphant of Little Creek Hundred, Sussex County and State of Delaware do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament.

Item It is my will and desire that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid by my executor hereinafter named out of my estate as soon after my decease as convenient.

Item I give and bequeath to my three grand children, the children of my daughter Mahalah Elizabeth namely Mahala Ellen Elliott, Isaac William Elliott and Sarah Elizabeth Elliott the sum of five dollars to be equally divided between them, share alike and no more out my estate.

Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Rebecca P. Davis the sum of five dollars and no more of my estate.

Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Ann E. C. Elliott the sum of five dollars and no more of my estate.

Item I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Cassandra D. Oliphant all the remainder of my estate provided she pays my daughter Sarah E. Wright the sum of five dollars and no more for and during her natural life or widowhood, and after her decease or the termination of her widowhood, the whole of said remainder to my son William T. Oliphant.

And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my brother Elijah M. Oliphant Sole executor of this my last Will and Testament Surely revoking all others by me at any time heretofore made.

In witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the Eleventh day of January in the year of our Lord, one thousand eighteen hundred and seventy-three.

Signed, Sealed, published and declared by the above named William P. Oliphant be his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
